BEHIND THE LENS

Photography has been a passion of mine since my father gave me a Minolta 35mm film camera as an 8th grade graduation present. What started out as a hobby taking pictures of family & friends, moved into contributing to the high school yearbook and then on to studying photography in college.

Since graduation, my photography subjects have varied: corporate headshots, Off-Off Broadway plays, landscapes, weddings, events & parties, and fashion & editorial. My clients have been as diverse as my work: celebrities, actors, models, singers, dancers, athletes, social media influencers, life coaches, fitness trainers, and corporate professionals from all over the world.

 

I've had work featured on television on BravoTV's "Summer House," on the celebrity news show "Entertainment Tonight," and in publications such as GQ, Us Magazine, OUT Magazine, The New York Times, TimeOut New York, Bello Magazine, ADON, Da Man Magazine (Indonesia), as well as various websites like ADON, Kaltblut, Ryker, Fashionably Male, Victor Magazine, Image Amplified. I've also done corporate headshots for advertising agencies (Ogilvy and R/GA) and been contracted for personal installations.

 

Due to the pandemic and covid19 travel restrictions, I started doing virtual photoshoots through FaceTime, Skype and Zoom. Despite the world having reopened again, I continue the project as a way to create with people not living in the same city or country as myself.

 

And when not photographing for clients (pictures of me with some of my models below), I work on an on-going museum-napping project inspired by actress Tilda Swinton, and also dabble in podcasting on MLVC: The Madonna Podcast.
